Bit Rot (2025)
Originally drafted with Texas State Technical College's 2025 Halloween Sticker Contest in mind, this sticker became a personal project when its design didn't make the cut. (See Client Work for the chosen design!)
A combination of digital illustration in Clip Studio Paint, databending, and screenshotted elements from a Windows 10 desktop environment, it might not be immediately obvious that the inspiration for this piece was a corrupted .zip file. Below are the original bitmap files (converted to .png for easy viewing) which were added to the illustration to create the glitched effects!
The image data was corrupted using Audacity, an audio-editing program (by importing a .bmp of the illustration as raw data) and HxD, a hex editor (to ensure the header of the image data remains in tact).
